COMPANIONS CHOICE HYDROBATH

The Companions Choice Hydrobaths are all made to be used commercially, that is built sturdily to withstand constant use, be it in the salon or on the road as a mobile unit. The fibre glass hydrobaths are all built to a specific thickness therefore doors can be put in either end or even in the middle on either side.

The bath has a cut out or lowering on both sides at the top edge, this is important for two reasons, the first is that if you wanted your bath to go in a certain position in your salon say up against a wall we can put the switches on the side you need them and cut the door where you want it and the bath will fit the situation, the other reason is so that you can walk around the bath and not have to turn the dog to wash the far side.

As can be seen in the photo all our baths are fitted with external taps and are not charged as extras

All our baths can be fitted with Residual current devices and 4.5 metres of power cord is standard. As you can see from the picture of the hydrobath at the top of the page a cord holder is not required as the cord fits nicely as shown.

All our hydrobaths are fitted with Davey pumps which are made by Davey especially for the dog washing industry.

This is a photo of the inside of the door showing the double flashing that is used to prevent water escaping out of the bath and on to the floor.

An insert table is available ours is made from fibreglass. The table lifts the working surface of the bath by 300mm, enabling small dogs to be washed at a more user friendly height.

The hydrobath shown at the top of the page is fitted with wheels these are bolted through the bottom of the bath with zinc plated steel angle for added strength. If you look closely at the photo you will notice that the wheels are set out from the side of the bath a little, this is done to give the bath more stability. Wheels are an optional extra the prices set out below. We do not use rotating wheels as it has been my experience to have the wheels facing in under the bath makes the bath quite unstable. No brakes, if you need brakes on a bath you are on too steep a slope to wash a dog. We can of course fit anything to a bath if you would like brakes and two rotating wheels the additional cost is shown at the bottom of the page.

This is a picture of the tub the water goes into viewing from above. As you can see this bath is heated the 1800 watt heating element is on the right. If you look at the top picture you will notice the black thermostat knob and next to that the double weather proof switch. The baths can be heated or unheated and heating is an optional extra, the price of the thermostatically controlled heater is set out below.

In this photo you can also see the stainless steel filter on the inlet to the pump and at the top of the picture the door which covers the tub once you have enough water in it.

COMPANIONS CHOICE TWIN TUB HYDROBATH

This is not just another hydro bath. Designed by Vic Stockbridge a lot of thought has gone into making sure it is what the industry is asking for. After discussions with people that have been in the industry for many years and together with my extensive knowledge of animal washing I have created what I believe to be the best package currently on the market in Australia.

SIZE IS IMPORTANT. This bath is 1250 mm long, 710 mm wide and 940 high with no wheels and with the standard wheels as shown height is 1030 mm. Because the bath does not have wide edges around the top more space is actual internal bath space, this is a bath big enough to wash any dog and as you will see clever enough to wash the smallest dog. I have made the bath so that it will slide into the side door of most vans.

This photo is of the inside of the bath showing the tub covers which can be removed to give full access to easily clean inside the tubs. This is very important as even if only fresh water is used in one tub a build up of dirt and bacteria will soon occur.

You can also see the three plugs in the centre, these are the water return plugs, so if I wanted the water to be used from the right hand tub I would remove the right hand plug and water will travel down the hole and back into the tub. The same for the left hand plug. The plug in the middle lets the water straight out of the bath bypassing the tubs.

Also showing in this photo are the four stainless steel dog restraining eyelets, these serve a dual purpose as you will see.

This is a photo of the insert table in place. The cut out at the front of the table is so that you can reach the plugs and operate the bath with the table in place. The table rests on the four eyelets and therefore has no legs this brilliant design also enables the table to be used as a ramp so that older dogs can easily get into the bath.

Here you can see the ramp in use, a none slip surface prevents the dogs from slipping as they walk up the ramp and when in the bath the ramp is removed and the door put in place so that the dog can be washed as normal
